After being recognized by The Webby's in 2015 for our work with the state of Idaho, we're pleased to announce that this year we've followed that up by being named an Honoree for our work with with the Washington Department of Social and Health Services.

The site, which has actually been live since January 2015, was rebuilt from the ground up, migrating over 10,000 pages of content to a new, fully-responsive, ADA compliant solution. The project took a little under 6 months to complete, but was completed ahead of schedule, and since launch it has greatly enhanced service delivery for the citizens of Washington.

Acting Secretary for the Department, Pat Lashway, played a direct role in the project while in her previous position of Assistant Secretary for the Enterprise Support Administration, and was very happy with the outcome. "Portland Webworks helped us take our desire to better serve our community's needs and make it a reality", she stated, "Incorporating the needs of our professional community, our staff and agency partners, and the residents of Washington State who use our services."
