Our outstanding work in the area of health and human services continues to garner recognition, as we picked up both a Silver and Bronze award in the Government Website category of this year's Summit Creative Awards. Specifically, the sites recognized were the Live Better Idaho citzen portal (Silver) and the Washington Department of Social and Health Services site (Bronze), with the latter having already been recongnized by the Webby Awards earlier this year.

Founded in 1994, the Summit Creative Awards recognizes creative and technical achievement by small and medium sized agencies, receiving more than 5,000 submissions from 21 agencies this year. Entries are judged against a stringent set of standards, as judges search for and identify innovative and creative concepts, strong execution and user experience, and the ability to communicate and persuade. This year's awards were particularly competitive, with Portland Webworks recognized alongside such major agencies as the LA Department of Public Heath, the State of Utah and the U.S. Department of Labor.

The award is further validation of our efforts to deliver innovative solutions in the area of public services, providing a user-centered experience using proven open-source tools.
