Brevity™

Portland Webworks developed the Brevity™ Content Management System to deliver enhanced content control to website owners. The result is a powerful, yet elegant tool that precludes the need for in-house technical expertise while greatly increasing the flexibilty (and therefore lifespan) of your website.

Brevity™ is managed through a browser based admin client, that provides simple, intuitive interface for controlling all aspects of your site. Brevity™ allows you to easily:

• Alter your site content by typing into a simple text field.
• Alter the structure of your site via drag-and-drop interface (add pages, rename, move, delete).
• Integrate a global site search.
• Automatically updates your site navigation.
• Requires no knowledge of HTML (though accepts HTML tags).
• Preview your site exactly as it will appear before publishing.
• Save your revisions indefinitely for further review before publishing to the live website.
• Upload and link to files (PDFs, Word docs, Excel, images, anything).

In addition to these core features, we have also developed several add-on modules that integrate seemlessly with Brevity™:

Display and manage your product catalog online, provide full shopping cart functionality, process and extract orders.

Member Listing

For member based organizations, accept member submitted business listings, then manage and publish them all through Brevity’s simple interface.
