Portland Webworks selected by Association Of Alaska School Boards

Portland Webworks was recently selected by the Association of Alaska School Boards (AASB) to develop version 3 of their School Climate and Connectedness Survey.

After a competitve national RFP process, Portland Webworks was selected for the project based on its extensive experience in developing rich web applications, particularly in the areas of collating and reporting survey results.

The School Climate and Connectedness Survey seeks to determine students attachment to their acedemic environment and belief that their educators are concerned about their wellbeing. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, “a growing body of research indicates that students who feel connected to their school are more likely to engage in health behaviors and succeed academically.”

Working with AASB’s IT conslutant, Rogue Global Soultions, based in Washington, DC, Portland Webworks is excited to develop a robust and intuitive solution that will benifit students and school administrators alike.
